Process:
You submit your dossier and then receive referral from attorney in Guatemala. Your adoption must be approved by the Guatemalan government and finalized prior to your arrival.  Referral time is approximately 2-6 weeks.

Time in Country for Parents:
3-6 days

Available Children:
Hispanic infants through 12 years old. Health babies referred after birth or soon thereafter. Children usually cared for in foster care family.

Marriage Requirements:
Single women can adopt from Guatemala. No minimum years of marriage.
