I have been facilitating Ukrainian adoptions for the past four years. I have seen many changes in the Ukraine governments program and yet a good sense of stability. I have seen the Ukraine government modify their program to make it better and to protect the Ukrainian children.

The process can be time consuming and you may often meet many delays; however, your wait is well worth it when you are able to bring your child home. I have found the Ukrainian children to be intelligent, loving and well cared for. I have personally visited the Ukraine and have been to a number of orphanages. I felt that Ukraine’s orphanages are well maintained and the caretakers have good intentions.

Although, I cannot ever give you any guarantees, I feel confident that if you are patient and persistent, you will have a successful adoption. I have focused a lot of effort for over four years on learning the Ukraine adoption process and making adoption contacts in the Ukraine and US. Process:
You submit your dossier to the Ukraine Adoption Center. You then receive confirmation of approval of your dossier and then an appointment date to come to the Ukraine to receive your referral. You complete the Ukraine adoption (adoption decree from Ukrainian Court) while you are in country and then return home with your child.

Time in Country for parents:
2weeks to 5 weeks
There is a 30 day waiting period that may be waived by the Court.

Available Children:
Caucasian children age fourteen (14) months to 16 years old are available for adoption.

Marriage Requirements:
Single women and men can adoption from the Ukraine. No minimum years of marriage. Ukraine is flexible regarding parents age.
